The win rate is the proportion of AI picks that actually won — a way to gauge how stable the model's calls are.

But a high win rate is not the same as profitability. If a high win rate comes mainly from low-odds picks, long-term returns may be underwhelming; a moderate win rate paired with higher odds can produce a better overall return. So win rate should always be read together with odds and expected value.

Expected Value | EV

Expected value measures whether a bet holds a reasonable edge when repeated over the long run.

A positive expected value means the model's estimated win probability is higher than the market probability implied by the odds — a theoretical long-term edge.

For example, a 55% estimated win rate at 2.00 odds can beat a 70% win rate at 1.30 odds over the long run. That's exactly why you can't look at win rate alone — odds and expected value matter too.

Return on Investment | ROI

ROI uses a fixed stake to calculate the model's cumulative return over the sample period — a way to gauge overall prediction performance and capital efficiency.

Note that the ROI shown here is a model performance statistic. Actual results still depend on the odds at the time of betting, stake size, timing and bankroll management.
